Brief: This year we teamed up with Australia’s longest running projection festival - the Gertrude Street Projection Festival - to create animations for 2021. Students in this studio proposed artworks in response to the work of artist Tom Blachford. A selection of students continued to work in collaboration with Tom while others produced their own works to be considered for screening in next years’ festival.
Students were exposed to artists and animators working with digital projection, sculptural installation and performance to gain an understanding of methods, techniques and processes.
